HSC Pension Scheme Abatement Rules

The Departartment of Health has now put in the amending regulations that will extend the suspension of pension abatement until 31 October 2022. The regulations are called the Health and Social Care Pension Schemes (Abatement) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2022.

These Regulations come into operation on 25 March 2022 and as a result the suspension of pension abatement will continue until 31 October 2022.

Please note: The 24 Hour Rule has not been suspended.
