Reminder: Firefighters’ Pension Scheme Website and Member Self Service

HSC Pension Service, the administrator of the Firefighters’ Pension Scheme, operates the NIFRS Pension Scheme Website. Here, you’ll find information about benefits and options available to members, including:
• Latest NIFRS News Updates
• Latest information on the McCloud Judgement 2015
• Pension Calculators
• Pension Pay Dates

The McCloud section has been updated with benefit illustrations, scenario calculations, and FAQs. As we progress through the remedy exercise, the website will be updated.

Member Self Service

Member Self Service is in the final stages of going live. It requires an email address that matches our current records. By default, it uses your NIFRS email address but you can opt to change it to your personal email address if you prefer.

To update your email address, please contact us with:
• Your name
• National Insurance number
• Preferred email address for your account

To ensure seamless registration on the self-service portal, please update your email address by November 20th, 2023. If you are satisfied with your NIFRS email address being used or have already informed HSC Pension Service of your personal email address, no further action is required.
