The HSC Pension Service has in place a team to work with Employers to update and develop an effective and informative employers’ guides to the HSC Pension Scheme. This guide is divided into relevant sections relating to features of the scheme which will allow simpler navigation through the contents.

Below you will find the information relevant for processing the pension locally for your Officers (excluding practitioners).
You should send a New J2 starter form when a member joins the scheme in a new employment with your organisation– regardless of any other current or previous pensionable employment with your organisation or any other HSC Pensions employer.
You should also send the accompanying SD77 – Declaration of contributions in the last 12 months for all of your starters if the 12 month rule applies to your direction.
You should send a T55a terminating form when a member leaves the scheme for any reason with your organisation – regardless of any other current, previous or future pensionable employment with your organisation or any other HSC Pensions employer.
